Our Vision for Impact
Lumera Heart Project is a California-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting family caregivers through education, respite, wellness practices, and community connection.
Family caregiving is a global challenge affecting millions of individuals and families across cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and geographic regions. Our organization provides accessible resources, educational programming, virtual support opportunities, and restorative retreat experiences designed to reduce caregiver burnout, improve emotional well-being, and foster long-term resilience.
While our initial programs focus on serving caregivers in the United States, our digital resources, educational content, newsletters, and virtual community initiatives are designed to be accessible to caregivers regardless of location. Through our website, online programming, and future partnerships with caregiver organizations, healthcare professionals, and wellness practitioners, we aim to extend our reach and impact to caregivers worldwide.
Our long-term vision is to create a global community of support for caregivers by providing practical tools, wellness education, peer connection, and compassionate resources that help individuals sustain their caregiving roles while caring for their own health and well-being.
Family caregivers provide countless hours of care, often at the expense of their own physical, emotional, and financial well-being. Despite their essential role, many caregivers lack access to the support, resources, and respite they need to sustain their caregiving journey.
